With many decades of combined experience, our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff are experts when it comes to providing patients with high-quality veterinary care within an exceptional customer experience.

Dr. Gwyn Mathis
Dr. Gwyn Mathis
Dr. Gwyn Mathis attended the University of Georgia for both her undergraduate and graduate work receiving a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She has special interests in radiology, specifically ultrasound procedures, and ocular surgeries. She values honest and effective communication with our clients about their pets.
Dr. Gwyn’s outside interests include hiking, crochet, knitting, yoga, and reading. Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Gwyn married Dr. Greg in 1985. They have two daughters, Rachel and Georgia. She particularly enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, family, and pets.

Dr. Greg Mathis
Dr. Greg Mathis
Dr. Greg Mathis is a graduate of the University of Georgia Veterinary School. His special interests include chronic ear disease and allergy management, dermatology, specialized surgeries such as orthopedics, soft palate resections, and ZEPP procedures. Dr. Mathis values communication with pet parents and has a passion for educating clients with complicated medical cases.
Outside the clinic Dr. Mathis’ interests include reading, caving, hiking, tarpology and repelling.

Rachel McNeal
Rachel McNeal
Rachel McNeal is no newcomer to the world of Veterinary medicine. She has been helping out the practice since she was a small girl. She has a great passion for animals and healthcare.
Rachel works in the customer service side of our practice as our practice manager. Rachel’s outside interests include art and spending time with her husband, children and pets.

Dr. Amy Young
Dr. Amy Young
Dr. Young brings over 31 years of veterinary experience and is a proud Auburn University graduate. She enjoys Auburn sports, reading, and gardening, and is a proud mom of three — with two Mercer University graduates and one WKU graduate. Now an empty nester, she has more time to focus on her passions, which include geriatric care, feline medicine, and animal behavior.
